This is not the southernmost tip of Fuerteventura, but it is theJandia - Fuerteventura furthest west and most isolated, accessible only by a 20 km dirt track from Morro Jable, which turns back into narrow tarmac roads at the “end of the world”. These roads are the result of a government edict that the access to every lighthouse must be asphalted for a distance of 2 km. There are two lighthouses on the Punta de Jandía, a large one on Fuerteventura´s westernmost point near the village and a small one on the northernmost point of the headland.
