The village lies at the foot of the 401 m mountain of the same name. BecaTindaya - Fuerteventurause of its particularly hard rock, the mountain defies erosion, and in clear weather you can see Teide, the highest mountain on Tenerife, from its peak. It has been a natural protection zone since 1987.
